It’s hard to imagine an event in snowboarding more miraculous than Tailgate Alaska. Located on Thompson Pass just outside of Valdez, this epicenter of big mountain riding plays host to a good ole fashioned parking lot party each spring from March 25-April 10. Except, this time the rowdy crowd aren’t waving flags or wearing home team colors, they’re sporting smiles from ear to ear and hugging complete strangers...

Holy Oly 8 has come and gone, and from the looks of it the crowd and talent field assembled at Snoqualmie for "Quarterpipes and Olympia Beer"  had their fill of good times and friendly competition. Be sure to check our previous coverage of the event.

Dave Short shares this look at near-perfect conditions in the Swiss alps, touring a variety of natural features and ending the edit with a sneaky fence-hop into the last chute.
