Despite the sideways snow and near zero visibility, a classic Baker blizzard didn't seem to hold back any of Saturday's Banked Slalom shredders from charging hard.

A bit of rain and slush couldn't stop the Lady-Killers from tearing up Stevens Pass on February 6.  Stevens Pass team rider Megan Middleton led the way on the first year for the new annual event.  With more than 50 ladies pre-registering, the female future for riding in in the Pacific Northwest looks promising. Coincidentally, it also looks quite a bit better than all the mangy snowboarding men in the mountains...   

Baker blower is a rarity. That being said, it doesn't mean it's not high on the list of requests while praying to the snow gods. They must have been listening on Friday, November 19th...
