Nikolai Samson of Almond Manufacturing has been embracing the DIY modus operandi over the past couple years, first with splitboard snowsurfers, and now adding a shed-made splitboard to his quiver. It's a unique take on snow-sliding--one that embraces local consciousness and self-powered snow-sliding. In this five-minute short, Nikolai builds and rides his homemade board around Revelstoke, BC. Looks like his first attempt at from-scratch board making worked out well in deep powder.
